Incubator & Imaging System

All plates are incubated at 4°C or 20°C (or custom temperature). Each researcher will be assigned a personal login and password for accessing the images through the internet.

The routine schedule for taking images is set to 0, 2, 5, 10, 25, 50 and 100. This schedule may change significantly depending on the overall workload of the RockImager.
Plates are incubated for approximately three months. After three months your plates are transferred to a temperature controlled storage area. Plates older than one year will be discharged without notice.

The images of the crystallization experiments are deleted from the server without notice according to the following schedule:
- Focus levels are deleted after 60 days.
- Images of all time points except the last image are deleted after 1 year.
- All images are deleted after 2 years.
It is the researcher’s responsibility to download and save important images.
