Matthias Eibauer

Matthias Eibauer is an experienced Cryo-EM specialist who has been working as a Senior Scientist at the Department of Biochemistry in Prof. Ohad Medalia's lab since 2015.

Prior to that, he worked as a Postdoc in the same lab from 2011 to 2015. He completed his doctoral thesis 2011 at the Max Planck Institute for Biochemistry in Martinsried, in the lab of Prof. Wolfgang Baumeister. Matthias studied Physics at LMU Munich from 2002 to 2007 and specialized in Biophysics during his main course of study. He also completed his diploma thesis at the Max Planck Institute for Biochemistry in Martinsried.
